10 MLD CETP FOR
Roha Industrial Association, Roha Dist. Raigad.
Projects
This Common Effluent Treatment Plant for treatment of effluents generated
by industrial units in ROHA MIDC industrial area was conceived as a joint
effort between Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation and
Roha Industries Association and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
RIA CETP Coop. Soc. Ltd. selected Hydroair Tectonics (PCD) Pvt. Ltd. for
implementation of this project. The project was completed through active
cooperation from officials of MPCB & MIDC

Treatment Philosophy
PRIMARY TREATMENT
:
Equalisation Neutralisation. Flash mixing for chemical dosing (Alum) Clariflocculation
SECONDARY TREATMENT
:
Anaerobic based on UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) process, with methane gas and power generation. Chemo Autotropic Activated Carbon Oxidation to replace conventional Aerobic Treatment resulting in power saving & reduction in sludge production (nil)
TERTIARY TREATMENT
:
Ozonation with Ultraviolet System. Activated carbon filter
SLUDGE HANDLING
:
Automatic Belt Filter Press. Dewatered sludge will be stored temporarily and transported to Government approved designated site
