Overall
View Of Waste Water Treatment Plant |
Technical Features
- Scheme approved by IIT, Mumbai.
- Additional benefit of generation of biogas which will be used to generate power and thus reduce the power consumption.
- Plants working on conventional technology would require 620 KBA power.
- Higher loading rates due to anaerobic system and thus smaller unit sizes leading to saving in capital cost.
- Sludge handling by mechanical means : Filter press, Dewatered sludge will be stored temporarily and transported to Government approved designated site.
- Minimal chemical consumption.
- In tune with present Government policy of sustainable development and not limited to meeting discharge standards.
