Projects

This Common Effluent Treatment Plant for treatment of effluents generated by industrial units in Patalganga MIDC industrial area was conceived as a joint effort between Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Patalganga and Rasayani Industries Association and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.

It was decided to set up a public limited company for implementation of the CETP. Hydroair Tectonics (PCD) Pvt. Ltd. was selected as a Joint Venture Partner and a Joint Venture company named PRIA CETP (I) Ltd. was formed for implementation of this project. The project was completed through active cooperation from officials of MPCB & MIDC.

Overall View Of Waste Water Treatment Plant

Technical Features

  1. Scheme approved by IIT, Mumbai.
  2. Additional benefit of generation of biogas which will be used to generate power and thus reduce the power consumption.
  3. Plants working on conventional technology would require 620 KBA power.
  4. Higher loading rates due to anaerobic system and thus smaller unit sizes leading to saving in capital cost.
  5. Sludge handling by mechanical means : Filter press, Dewatered sludge will be stored temporarily and transported to Government approved designated site.
  6. Minimal chemical consumption.
  7. In tune with present Government policy of sustainable development and not limited to meeting discharge standards.
